Luke's Kitchen 1

Lukes Kitchen

Situated in the laid back village of Kuaotunu; Luke’s Kitchen is a rustic seaside restaurant with a café & art gallery adjacent creating a hub for locals, tourists and families.

Development of this unique site in the Coromandel resulted in a requirement by local council to upgrade onsite waste water treatment.  An ecocycle system was designed and selected for the job, installed by local drainlaying company Bennetto Drainlaying.

Camarosa Bar, Restaurant & Cafe

Only 5 minutes drive from Waikato University in Hamilton you will find the gorgeous Ruakura Berry Shop, your one-stop shop for all fresh-picked Berries and Real Fruit Ice Creams and Camarosa an elegant Bar, Restaurant & Cafe.

The site required a waste water treatment system that was able to effectively treat wastewater from the cafe and importantly meet council requirements.  Ecocycle was chosen as the provider of the best wastewater treatment system for the job due to the adaptability of the system and Ecocycle’s proven track record.

Oropi Memorial Hall and Community Centre

The hall underwent extensive refurbishment and expansion in 2016 and now caters for events, clubs, sports and weddings.  The Ecocycle wastewater treatment system installed was designed to cater for the expansion and expected fluctuating flows from use of the facilities.  Ecocycle systems handle periods of no flow to high flow without adjustment ensuring an environmentally friendly and reliable solution.  Ecocycle offered the best wastewater treatment system solution.

Our advanced wastewater treatment systems can be found on hundreds of properties around the country.

Ecocycle’s odourless and quiet treatment systems are perfect for all residential properties. Treated wastewater irrigates to lawn, gardens or shelter belts.

Waiponga Reserve, Opoutere

Just outside Whangamata, Opoutere is a little hidden gem of 5kms of white sand surf beach on the Coromandel Peninsula. Known for its exceptionally clear water for swimming, surfing and surfcasting, Thames Coromandel District Council needed to update the public toilets.

We designed a system that could handle extremely low use in winter and switch to high flows during peak use in the busy summer months.  The result is a reliable and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment system.

Veligandu Island Resort and SPA

In a pristine and luxurious island in the Maldives, Veligandu Island Resort needed a wastewater treatment system for its 60 room complex.

The Ecocycle system was chosen due to our ability to design, manufacture and project manage the installation of a specialised system engineered to suit the location.

Temple view

Temple View Project – Camp Tuhikaramea, Hamilton

A beautiful facility featuring lovely lakes and 40 acres of heavily forested grounds. They needed a wastewater treatment system that could switch from high or low flows through the system without disruption. The peak periods had to accommodate up to 400 people at a time.

Our solution was a system that allows Ecocycle to monitor the site from our Tauranga office, via a GPRS system. We can quickly check the flow rates and equipment, carryout inspections or service as required.

This gives the camp complete peace of mind. The operation of the wastewater treatment system runs smoothly and there is no interruption of service when staff change or occupancy rates increase during peak times.
