Ecocycle designs and manufactures onsite wastewater treatment systems in New Zealand, engineered for New Zealand conditions. We offer two system types, matched to how a property actually uses water: Residential Passive (homes and lifestyle blocks — naturally aerated, no mechanical blowers, OSET NTP tested) and Commercial AWTS (all commercial applications — MBBR aeration with an integrated passive stabilisation stage compliance verified through ongoing effluent monitoring).

Ecocycle Residential systems use a passive, natural aerobic treatment process that promotes oxygen-driven biological treatment without mechanical aerators or blowers. Using carefully selected filter media, these systems are designed for low energy use, quiet operation, and minimal ongoing maintenance while delivering consistent treatment performance.

Ecocycle Commercial AWTS systems are AWTS-class on-site wastewater treatment systems engineered for New Zealand commercial applications. Combining aeration-driven biological treatment with Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) technology and an integrated passive biological stabilisation stage. The MBBR process provides efficient treatment, while the passive stage helps maintain bacterial stability during low-flow periods. This reduces the risk of biological die-off associated with standalone aerated systems and supports reliable treatment performance across fluctuating hydraulic and organic loads.
